Milton C. Knight,
Former City Golfer

Milton C. Knight, 70, of Bote Acres, Greenwich, Conn., for many years a well known golfer at the Worcester Country Club died Sunday in his home.

His brother, the late Arthur D. "Bud" Knight, was also a prominent golfer in this area.

His father was the late Arthur O. Knight, one of the founders of the Worcester Country Club.

Born in Worcester, son of Delphine (Hewett) Knight and the late Mr. Knight, he lived here 40 years. He then moved to Boston, then to Chicago. While in Chicago, he was vice president in charge of sales for the Core-Lube Corp. in Danville, Ill.

Besides his mother, in Greenwich, he leaves a son, Carter F. Knight of West Peabody, a former employe of Radio Station WTAG, a brother, Russell C. Knight of Worcester; a sister; Pauline, wife of the late Charles Trafford Jr. of New Bedford, and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today in Hope Cemetery. Rev. Thaddeus Clapp of St. Mary's Episcopal Church will officiate.

Milton C. Knight Services Tomorrow

Committal services for Milton C. Knight, 70, of Bote Acres, Greenwich, Conn., who died Sunday in his home, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Hope Cemetery. Rev. Thaddeus Clapp will officiate.

Funeral services will be tomorrow morning in Graham Funeral Home, Rye, N.Y.

Mr. Knight was for many years a golfer at the Worcester Country Club.

His brother, the late Arthur D. "Bud" Knight, was also a prominent golfer in this area.
